So today finds us with an active new gallery that I feel should probably have a few words said about it. The first thing to mention is that it’s actually two different programs working in concert, so for those of you who are getting a white screen with an image whenever you click a thumbnail, the Lightbox program isn’t working correctly for you. I’m definitely going to look into that, and if necessary replace it. Goodness knows it’s only the work of a few minutes, so we can definitely try various ones.
Also about the Slideshow, it should appear in the same location as the thumbnails, simply replacing them. I’ve been getting reports that it’s not doing that for some people. In some cases it can take a little bit to load. I’ll definitely look into speeding that up. Though the Slideshow is a part of the actual gallery program. So I don’t see it being replaced anytime soon unless I can find another program that works to completely replace it. I’ll keep my eyes open, though I have yet to see the slideshow fail to load in any browser be it Opera, Firefox, Chrome, I.E., or even the default Android browser.
Also some people have mentioned the 28 images viewable in the Lightbox before you have to close it. This is a function of mixing two programs that aren’t 100% designed to do so. Other Lightbox options are available, I’ll look for more compatible ones.

I’ve enabled the gallery’s ability to resize the image to your screen size to avoid scrolling. Also I’ve enabled the ability to click the image in order to advance to the next image, and the ability to close the window by clicking off the image. Also as you have noticed, doujinshi preview images in the news post now appear in the same Lightbox. No more Imagevenue garbage.

Hey everyone sound off if you agree with me on my idea for voting. I think there should be one voting per week. Whatever has the most votes gets updated first, then whatever had the second most votes would be updated the next day and so on in that order. For the subjects/categories that only had one vote (since there’s always quite a few) could be updated either at random or based on whichever one hasn’t had an update in the longest time. I think this way peoples votes will have a greatly higher chance of being updated and won’t feel like your vote is being wasted/futile. It may also give Nideovinja extra time to search for material, being able to see what will be updated next ahead of time, maybe even be able to update a series hentai and doujinshi together. Some votes take way too long to finally get updated (ex. Burst Angel took over a month), I think this voting system can be faster. In a way everybody wins. If you think this is a good idea then lets support it.

@Bon bin. No the updates most likely wouldn’t be less because everyone votes for numerous different things. on a single vote day their are at least 8 different categories and if the voting system changes to my idea more people would be likely to vote for different things since their vote would have a higher chance of being updated.

I rather like Skullhead’s idea, but i’ll go with Breast Expansion.
Vote once a week could be nice but it would give less choice to the veiwer in a scence. Right now this gallery is run by the people (sorta). We choose what get updates or what gets created. If we did it once a week it will give him more time to get stuff as well as update stuff of his own, so we would have to take that into account. If it is something everyone would like to try then I think the trail run would be the best to try, I presonally like it how it is right now. Gives us more of a voice. That is my input on that.
Now the gallery in general seems to be working perfecly fine for me. I just kinda miss being able to see the picture of the gallery before clicking in instead of the name. Makes it a little harder to find what it is I am looking for sometimes.
My vote now is gunna go for a Rosario + Vampire doujinshi.

That’s the second time i’ve heard about the image resizing thing. It’s not happening on either browser i use (FireFox or Chrome). Images will sometimes be taller or wider than my screen, and i’m running at a pretty good resolution for a mid-range 2-year-old model.
