So at the request of members I’m adding a He Is My Master gallery, and updating the Ben 10 gallery. Also slated for an update at the members request are Breast Expansion, Inspector Gadget, Kingdom Hearts, and Teen Titans. But those will have to wait until next update (else this one will get delayed even further). Look for them soon!

In other news, I’ve been working on the public movie gallery, though it’s not finished. Still I figured I’d make what I had already finished available while I worked. So if you see a blank movie gallery, don’t fret. It should be up in the next couple days. Also I’m going to add the old custom gallery buttons as well. The way to do this is to simply put them in the gallery, then the gallery will allow me to use them as the gallery button. So if you’re wondering why they’re there in the gallery, that’s the reason.

And for the last bit of news for the day, I’ve started adding sub folders for general artwork for the series. Not sure if I’m going to go back and add them for the older galleries just yet. Definitely with updates they’ll get added, and I might add additional ones from older galleries once I’m done with fixing the public galleries.

So I was going to do some updates on the the 9th, but my web host said, nah you have to move everything over to the other server. So I was busy doing that… but then on the 10th, they told me I could stay on the server I was already on. So then I had to move everything back. *sighs* Talk about an annoying couple of days. But whatever the case, now that I don’t have to move the site again, it’s time for an update!

So about the new galleries, I’ve got a few people asking about the custom gallery thumbnails I used to have. Well unfortunately this new gallery system doesn’t support them exactly. I’ll see if I can find a means of making them work though. That’s after the movie gallery is finished, which should happen in the next day or so, at least now that I’m actually able to work on it. Also for those that are interested, we’re testing out new software for the forum at http://www.nvhforum.com/smf so if you’d like to check it out and give you input, it would be most welcome.

So today I’ve got some good news to report, some bad news, and an update. So the good news is that I’ve found a way to make this site not only faster, but need only one server. Half the costs is a great thing, and having the site be blatantly faster is a nice bonus. This is of course through a new gallery system, which I’ve spend the last 15 hours just working on the public Doujinshi section (very time consuming process). So er… it will take a bit to reach the members section. But it’s going to be great when it does.

Okay so with that out of the way, the bad news. Apparently my terrible web host is forcing me to move servers. So there will likely be a day or two of downtime coming up. I can’t be certain exactly when it will be. But I will try to keep everybody appraised of the situation as best I know it. A lot of the file/database moving is in their hands, so we’re working on their time table unfortunately.

Beyond that I’m not a 100% certain when the updates can happen in all that, but until they mess with this site in particular to move it… I’m going to be tossing up updates daily. So please check back daily, and if the site is randomly down… don’t worry, it’s only temporary. Enjoy the new gallery and the updates! Oh and I’ll get to work on the public movie gallery later today.
