Wow… have I had an obnoxious week… First let’s talk about the members gallery. For those that don’t know, the entire gallery was just missing last week. I’ve gone back and loaded an old version of the gallery from July, and fixed all the updates for October, and September. However the updates for August, and the last half of July are still missing. I’m currently working on that. Also the movie updates are all entirely broken at the moment… I do actually have a plan for this, originally I was going to take a bit longer on doing this… But once I’ve added all the Hentai and Doujinshi updates back, I’m going to make Maihentai into a streaming movie site. Until then however Maihentai will still operate as normal.

So for those of you wondering why I haven’t completely added every update yet… Allow me to tell you a story (woohoo for story time). See I’m actually going to be moving from the quaint (read as terrible) city of Chico, California… to Portland, Oregon, at the end of the month. And my girlfriend is currently looking for a job up there (we’re moving so she can go to a school there). Whatever the case, she got a hit almost immediately for a really nice job… However we had to race up there for a job interview for her. So we literally had to go 491 miles (one way), spend all kinds of time driving around there and come back right after (The whole trip turned out to be 1014 miles, if you include all the city driving as well). So during the nights at Motels I’ve been trying to fix the gallery (for those who have ever used Motel Internet, you know how horrible that is). *shrugs* At least my life is exciting I suppose. But if you’ve been wondering where I was, that’s where.

Question of the Moment:
Currently I just allow all images in a particular gallery to show on the same page, of course this means that when you click on one you can arrow key through them all. But it of course leads to slower loading times. Would you guys prefer I have limit on the number of images per page? Say 100 or so? The downside is that the current image viewer will only let you look at that number of images at a given time. The upside is faster load times.

Wow, it’s been a rough couple of days. As some of you have surmised from my previous updates, it was in fact that obnoxious memory foam mattress. People say, “Yeah, they don’t smell much, and it goes away in a few days….” Let me tell you, they were wrong, sooooo very wrong. We had it for an entire month, and even armed with air purifiers, fans, and opens windows… my girlfriend still ended up needing medical attention after a month. Clearly a poor choice, but hey we did get our money back… But do you know what was really funny (and by funny I mean terrible)? When we took the mattress out of the room to throw the piece of crap away… The gages on our nuts air purifier (yes it has gages to register toxin levels)… Went all the way up to max… Of course we didn’t notice at first, I mean the mattress was gone… right? Hell no, it was actually significantly more toxic without the dumb thing… apparently it had seeped into the carpet as well, and the mattress was simply blocking in the worse of the gases. Once it was gone… stuff nearly killed me. Anyway to make a long story probably longer… it eventually dissipated, and I snagged my computer back… Which means I can do updates again.

So let’s talk about making up lost time and the vote… Obviously if you noticed the previous update I added 2,472 Bestiality images (yes I was apparently misspelling Bestiality as Beastiality). But well I missed a couple updates in there, and since it’s technically my choice day, I’m opting to ignore the possible Sudden Death vote between Gravion, and Tits Hentai…. And just update both!

So I’m off to collect material for it, and the next vote of course has already begun… But I’d also like to pose some interesting ideas, and perhaps even something of a question to you guys (on top of the vote). See I’ve been contemplating dividing the content that NVHentai, Maihentai, and NVDoujins provide so that each focuses on one thing hentai, movies, and doujinshi respectively. And then I was planning on improving each so that they more effectively provide that content…. NVHentai would gain the ability for users to upload images, even having their own gallery. Maihentai would pick up the ability to stream movies.. And NVDoujins would pick up zip downloads (probably even for the public). I was figuring that dividing the content would allow me to find gallery systems that better focus on what type of content the site was delivering, instead of trying to find a gallery that can deal with all the different types.

It would be a major change, all the same content would still be there though (and even new content would follow). But I figured I’d put it before you guys to see what you thought.

My apologies for the delay on this update, my apartment appears to be full of toxic gas (yes, again for those people keeping track). And after dragging my girlfriend to the hospital, I’m sort of hesitant to go back in for my computer to do an update. There are air purifiers in there, fans, and open windows. Whenever it dissipates enough to actually breath in there I’ll snag my computer and get to this update. But otherwise all I have is my phone, which is more than capable of editing a news post, but not actually capable of doing the update. Again sorry for the wait, it’s most definitely not intentional.
