‘Twas the hentai night before Christmas, when all through the site

I sprang to my computer chair to see what was the matter.

when, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

Complete with little plot twist, I downloaded it lively and quick,
I knew in a moment this doujinshi would do the trick.
Rapidly I switched images, the dildo penetrated her till she nearly came,
and she whistled and shouted and called it by many names:

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the news post
the typing and editing of this very spoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
down the news post St. Nideo came with a bound.

He was dressed in a fancy bathrobe, from his head to his foot,
and his robe was all tarnished with what Nideo would later call ashes and soot. <_<;;
A bundle of hentai he had flung on his back,
and he looked like a skin peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes looked dreary. Thankfully he remembered to close his robe, could have been scary.
His cheeks were like shadows, his nose upturned, this guy didn’t know the meaning of merry.
His mouth was drawn up with smirk, and to his forehead was stuck a errant bow,
and the beard on his chin unshaven and beginning to show.
The end of a straw he held tight in his teeth,
and the soda practically encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a bit of a belly,
that shook when he laughed, since he ate too many doughtnuts full of jelly.

Not really chubby or plump, too tall to be an elf,
and I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.
A glare in his eye and a twist of his head
soon gave me to know he’d rather go back to bed.

He grumbled some unkind words, but went straight to his work,
and filled all the galleries, then turned with a jerk.
And using a finger to pick his nose,
he flicked something with a nod, up the news post he rose.

He sprang towards the forum, to his team gave a whistle,
And away he surfed, like some perverse hentai collecting missle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he surfed out of sight,

“Happy Hentai Christmas to all, and to all….. god damn it, I got it on my keyboard again!

Today I’ve got a few things to report, the first is that I’ve gotten rid of the image resizing in the gallery. It was an interesting experiment, but with no way to actually view the full size image (with this Lightbox), I figured you guys would rather scroll and see the full size image than not scroll and see a minimized one.

Though I must say I already like this gallery, I mean really… just how often has the site crashed since we switched to it? That’s right zero! I’ve even been able to ditch Nginx off the server which was causing assorted other problems like odd redirects, or everybody having the same IP at the forum. Good riddance if you ask me. The only problem I’m really seeing with it so far is the Lightbox program could be better, I’ll be testing others as I find them until we find a better one, but the gallery behind it I rather like.

Gallery stuff aside let’s talk about the vote, or at least an idea for it…..

Whatever has the most votes gets updated first, then whatever had the second most votes would be updated the next day and so on in that order. For the subjects/categories that only had one vote (since there’s always quite a few) could be updated either at random or based on whichever one hasn’t had an update in the longest time. I think this way peoples votes will have a greatly higher chance of being updated and won’t feel like your vote is being wasted/futile. I figured I’d cover this here rather than in the comments of the posts. See for years we actually did a weekly vote, it worked out okay… but even in a time when the site was getting far more traffic we’d get 14-20 votes. People really just didn’t seem to give it the time of day, especially when compared to our daily votes which often get 30+ votes. The main point of these votes is actually to encourage traffic by giving people a reason to come back daily, a way to interact with the site (which I’m actually thinking of adding other ways as well). Also as I noticed when the old gallery blew up a few days ago, I asked a question… and got a few responses but not many, and that was over three days. I got more responses to my question yesterday than that. So it sort of serves a two fold purpose, one to encourage traffic, and another to actually encourage site participation. So I’d like to thank you for putting forth the idea, but for now I think we’ll keep things as they are. I rather like the interest people have in commenting now.

That being said, let’s talk about the vote….
