A couple things to note today, apparently the Mercenaries have garnered a lot of voting power in a very short time and nearly won the update. Impressive indeed, just a little bit more gentlemen and your doujinshi dreams will be realized. Beyond that I’m here to report that due to the theme contest on the forum, there will be no vote with this update, instead the next thing updated will be Drow Hentai, a subcategory of Elves as per the request of Stygian our theme contest winner. Be sure to watch the forums in the future for other chances to decide the update! Tomorrow’s update aside… today the League has won again, and School Rumble hentai has taken the gold.

Q: Can I have the Breast Expansion update image?
A: Always.

Q: How about a gallery for the news images.
A: Would people really look through it? I mean they’re always art images. Still I don’t see why I couldn’t start one, I’ll have to look back through my stuff and see which images I still have. I’ll add this with a future update.

Q: All I want is for Niddy to fix the slideshow… If the slideshow worked and it was able to be set to random images, that would delete a lot of the need of an Image Downloader… (-.-)
A: Unfortunately neither plugin I use to run the galleries supports a random slideshow. It’s possible that they might one day though, so I will at least keep an eye out.

Today marks a very interesting turn of events in the voting, all three of our named voting groups…. (The League, The Resistance, and The Mercenaries) have all agreed on one thing. Quite the voting slaughter really, congratulations everybody! Though the real question is, will we be having voting harmony with the next update? Or will it be every group for themselves? You guys decide as the newest vote starts right now! Happy voting!

Also, after posting the last update I realized I was incorrect as to whether or not we already had a transgender gallery. Turns out on my computer I had changed it (for whatever reason) and I usually refer to what’s on my computer as it’s usually the same. Apparently not this time though, apologies.

Q: Can I get the Gender Bender Update Image?
Of course.

Q: Nideo, Is there anyway you can increase the number of images per page? If I may so boldy request one of those lovely drop down boxes that lets you pick how many images and just default it to the current number. If not perhaps a compromise by simply having twice the images we have now? I know its for the ability to run on handhelds….but flipping through the average of 7+ (my usual 10) pages worth of images. Just wanted to know/bring it up see what you have to say about it.
A: There are currently two reasons why they’re limited to only 48 per page…. The first is because it reduces the load on the server to load only that many images at once. This is important since we have thousands of people viewing the images daily. The other reason is because it slows down site downloading programs… which are quite stressful on the server. At least now, it only makes 48 requests to the server at once (imagine asking your computer 48 things at once)… so if I increased it to say double.. then people running those would start making 96 requests for full images per use. It’s really a lot to ask the server. I’ll look into increasing this number but honestly to keep site speeds up I’m a bit loath to change it.

So a few of things to note today… First let’s talk about the update. Since we already had a “transgender” gallery, I opted for that terminology. Of course gender bender or Rule 63 are of course accurate as well (and mentioned as always to appease the great web god Google). Beyond that, not long after I uploaded the doujinshi for the last update, I amended the post to ask the question… “Would you like yaoi included with the updates?” Obviously given our predominately male demographic (according to Alexa http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nvhentai.com# )… I was quite surprised to see a result favoring yaoi by a decent margin…

…Clearly the people have spoken, so I’ll include it with the updates. Or at least keep a much larger eye out in the future. Though I might take up the AVGN time honored tradition of pounding alcohol (it’s water actually) for reviews. Except I’ll be sure to use it while hunting down pics of guys… lots of it. Kidding, kidding… But anyway, it will be clearly labeled just like the “men” images in the hentai section.

And finally about the forum theme contest, I’m a bit behind, but the winner of that will indeed get an update. I’ll head over to the forum after this update and sort that out. Likely the update they get won’t be tomorrow’s though, so feel free to vote while I’m out collecting images.

Q: Why are some games in the public section for members only?
Some games are available to the public, others are simply there to advertise some what’s actually in the members section.

Q: Would it be too much to ask to have any (new) futa images, outside of a futa-specific gallery of course, be in their own separate folder as well?
Depending on how the gallery is sorted and time constrains this could be possible. I’ll get back to you on this.

Q: Can we get a division for the 3000+ uncensored images in the members section?
A: Of course.

Q: Why are some names in yellow in the comments section?
A: If you enter anything into the website field when posting a comment, it makes your name turn yellow.

Jokes aside, good job guys! A little competition around here should make the updates much more exciting. Edit: For a Final Fantasy game… this has to be the redheaded stepchild of the lot. So few non-yaoi English doujinshi… Though it does spawn a question, do you guys want yaoi doujinshi? Or just it in general? I mean I know I include yaoi images I find in a separate “Men” folder… though I rarely search it out specifically, and I never search out yaoi doujinshi. Your guys call on it, I’ll abide by what you guys want.
